HDI

From year to year, the Human Development Index (HDI) value of Tanah Bumbu Regency continues to increase. In 2025, the HDI value of Tanah Bumbu Regency will reach 75.09, the 5th highest in South Kalimantan. This increase in HDI reflects significant progress in several important aspects, including education, health and people's living standards. High educational participation rates, improved health facilities, and local economic development programs have helped improve the quality of life of residents. This positive trend not only shows the region's ability to improve the welfare of its citizens, but is also an important indicator for long-term development planning, including formulating poverty alleviation strategies, increasing human resource competence, and developing public infrastructure. Tanah Bumbu Regency's success in maintaining consistent HDI growth also places it as one of the regions with the most rapid social and economic development in South Kalimantan.
